What happens next?

  • ESB Networks are responsible for Smart Meter installations, so we can’t arrange a date - but we will tell them you’re interested so they prioritise you when they reach your area.  
  • Four weeks after your new meter is installed ESB will know if your meter connection is strong enough to retrieve half hourly meter readings.
  • Remember to contact us a month after your installation to discuss switching your tariff over to Smart.
